I like the feel of it, it goes well with my other two bokkens from cold steel. It barely fits one of my hands, but it works and is really fun when using the bokken at the same time.

I was very impressed by the quality of this katana when I pulled it out of the box. The blade was well made and came with a certificate of authenticity that detailed the basic qualities of the sword as a whole. I wouldn't say it was razor sharp but it was sharp enough to do the basic cut tests, in which it held as expected for it's particular price. The artwork on the handle is well crafted and gives it it's own unique look which I personally like. I would say it's better than average for its price, so if you want a better sword you'll need to pay more.

I love this sword. I have had it for over a year now and have used it time and time again to chop through things I probably shouldn't put it through but it has handled it like a champ. Can't wait to purchase another one.

I know this is not a true Japanese Katana but in the hand this sword still exudes an aura that requires respect. Well made,sturdy, and beautiful as it stands.

Great, battle ready sword at a great price. I'm tired of hearing from people who say that "If you didn't pay [X amount] or more then you aren't getting a good sword. It's bull. I have known people who make swords and they agree with me. It's not about cost it's about results...I got great results with this sword.

I own many swords and this is one of my top. This is not the cheap crap you get on Budk and similar sites, yet relatively inexpensive. I could write a long list of pro's, but I'll make it simple. You will not be disappointed. I was so impressed that I've already ordered the 1060 version of this sword.

The scabbard is just so shiny and detailed. Pictures only do this beauty some justice . In person up close it looks like a high end model you would pay easily a 100$+ for. The blades itself isn't very pretty with its wire brushed hamon and all but it still looks the part. I would say this is one of the sweetest scabbards I have ever seen.

For anyone looking for an authentic cutting sword, this is a great choice. This is the more refined version of the Hanwei Practical Katana Sword. I did some research and this rated well in many sword enthsiast forums. It comes with a tag from Hanwei that provides a serial number to document that this is a Hanwei sword. The workmanship is so beautiful for a sword of this price that I have not had the heart to cut with it yet. I may just buy another one and keep one for decoration and dedicate the other for cutting practice.

This sword is a beautiful sword, and such a bargain. The Tsuba (hand guard) is absolutely gorgeous, the pommel is secured tightly, and the sword is extremely well balanced. The blade in beautiful as well, you can see that it's folded steel and mine came extremely sharp. The scabbard is nicely crafted and fits the sword perfectly. On the scabbard, the sageo and the kurikata are secured beautifully.

I Bought this Sword set a couple weeks ago for my friend for christmas. i was amazed by how sharp they were and the overall design of the blades.

I haven't tested this sword yet, but it seem like the craftsmanship is very nice and durable for intermediate price tag. Im satisfied with this purchased and I'm happy that I have a decent katana sword for my first time collection..I would recommend this to anyone interested for 1st time sword buyer who can't afford the handmade Japanese sword.

The sword came in faster than expected, and met my high expectations. It is razor sharp, there are no knicks, and it feels as if it was built to last. In my opinion, this sword is worth the money.

I usualy love cold steel knives. This katana arrived a bit sub standard. There are rust spots about 2 inches long on the face of the blade.
